Babycakes is situated in a Charming 1889 Craftsman Home in the Heart of Hillcrest near Balboa Park and just north of Downtown San Diego. Greeted by a 1000 square foot sidewalk patio, you can enjoy the plesant San Diego weather all year round as you sip on a gourmet coffee/latte, indulge on a pastry or dessert, or relax over a glass of wine or an ice cold beer.
Inside you will find eclectic décor including antique furniture, cozy couches, the original brick fireplace, open beamed ceilings, and a screaming chandelier. The dessert cases are full of Decadent Cakes, Mouthwatering Tarts and moist Delicious Cupcakes your tastebuds will love. Hungry for more, snack on a Stuffed Croissant, Quiche, Chicken Pie, or go fruity with a Fresh Fruit Bowl. The café will soon be offering Lunch 7 days a week and Brunch on the weekends.
Explore the back patio known as the 'Garden Patio" - very Key West with a European twist. The Garden is a perfect spot to meet friends and escape the day to day routine without distractions.
